Transition Services

School Year 2023-2024

Dear Parents/Guardians,

We know that this year has been very difficult, however, the NYCDOE Transition and College Access Center was able to bring back the Traning Opportunity Program for our students. With this program, they may be eligible to earn a stipend of up to $200. The application this year is completely digital. Students who are 18 and over will be able to complete their applications in school. Students who are 14-17 must complete the application with their parent/guardian at home. Applications and supporting documents (photo ID, signed social security card, birth certificate, IEP cover page and working papers if applicable) must be submitted to the TOP office no later than 2PM on Wednesday, December 1th. Our program will focus on embedding work place skills in our instructional program and making our students “liaisons” to their peers as career exploration experts. Ms. Fatmeh our Parent Coordinator will email out the digital link, but if you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to reach out to me.

Kind Regards

Timothy Ring
